Beaverton Shooting Leaves Two Injured, One Man Is Under Arrest

A shooting around 3 p.m. in Beaverton left two people injured – the presumed target and a person nearby injured by shrapnel. One is arrested

BEAVERTON, OR – A shooting in Beaverton leaves two people injured and a third under arrest. It happened around 3:15 p.m. on Thursday on the 17200 block of NW Corridor Court.

Police say that officers were responding to a reported disturbance when they got word that shots had been fired.

They arrived and found a man who had been shot. His injury is not considered life-threatening.

As they investigated, officers discovered that a second person had been injured – by shrapnel – while in a nearby business.

The shooting victim was transported to the hospital, while the person struck by shrapnel was not.

Police say that they found and arrested the shooter nearby and took him into custody without incident.

No names or information about what led to the shooting has been released.
