Beaverton's Hall Street Grill Closes Suddenly After Nearly 25 Years

Hall Street Grill - a mainstay of Beaverton dining for nearly 25 years closed suddenly on Sunday. There was no warning to the staff or the community.

"After almost 25 years Hall Street has closed its doors," reads a sign on the door. "Thank you for your patronage through the years. Best, Hall Street Grill."

The closure was first reported by KOIN, which spoke to a bread delivery man who had arrived Monday morning to find no one to accept the order.

The restaurant had stopped serving lunch about one month ago, which had sparked some speculation that there had been problems.

On Hall Street's Facebook page, some people posted about having recently received gift cards that they won't be able to use.

It was on the Facebook page that the restaurant changed their hours to read simply: permanently closed.

Hall Street was owned by Steve McClain who also owns Oba in the Pearl District.
