Dog Bites Boy Who is Expected to be Okay

Beaverton Police and a unit from Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue are on the scene of a dog bite in Beaverton.

It happened around 1 p.m. in the family home.

It was a family dog that bit a three-year-old.

Beaverton Police Spokesman Officer Mike Rowe says the dog - a 3-4-year-old American Bully Dog was adopted two days ago from a shelter.

The injuries do not appear to have been serious.
