Former Teacher Allegedly Possessed Child Porn
Geoffrey Germano, a former teacher at Aloha High School, was arrested Wednesday in connection with a child pornography investigation.

ALOHA, OR — A former teacher at Aloha High School was arrested Wednesday in connection with a child pornography investigation, according to Washington County Sheriff's officials. Detectives had reportedly been following the case since April.
Geoffrey William Germano, 40, was taken to Washington County Jail. He is facing seven counts of encouraging child sex abuse in the first degree. His bail is set at $14,000.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office included Germano in its investigation after learning Germano had allegedly downloaded multiple files of child pornography. At the time, Germano reportedly worked as a teacher at Aloha High School.

According to the sheriff's office, Germano is no longer employed by the Beaverton School District.
In May, detectives served a warrant at Germano's home in the 2000-block of Southeast 62nd Avenue in Hillsboro and reportedly found evidence that Germano had downloaded and still allegedly possessed sexually explicit images and videos depicting children.

Germano was indicted by a Washington County Grand Jury this month.
