Free Play For All Ages At Beaverton City Library Sunday, Aug. 13
The production, Elephant and Piggie's "We Are In A Play!", is presented with help from the Beaverton Civic Theatre.

BEAVERTON, OR — The Vose Neighborhood Association Committee in Beaverton is offering a free play for all ages Aug. 13 on the front lawn at the Beaverton City Library, located at 12375 S.W. Fifth St.
Elephant and Piggie's "We Are In A Play!" will be co-hosted by the Beaverton Civic Theatre and is expected to feature singing, dancing, "and all the excitement of Mo Willems' popular books," according to city officials.
Typically addressing issues related to friendships, Willems' award-winning Elephant and Piggie books have entertained children and adults since 2007. Featuring Gerald the Elephant and Piggie the Pig, the books are done in comic book-style and often highlight the conversations of its two main characters. Kate Kristiansen will play the role of Gerald while Kayla Hughes will play Piggie.
