Haruka Weiser Funeral Service Set for Saturday
Service will be open to the public but the family requests the media respect their privacy.

Haruka Weiser, the Portland-raised, Beaverton-educated dance major who was murdered two weeks ago at the University of Texas, will be remembered Saturday at a memorial Mass in Beaverton.
The ceremony will be held at 9 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church in Beaverton.
The ceremony is open to the public but the family, who has said they will not be granting interviews, is asking the media to respect their privacy. The inside of the church will also be interview free.

They also ask that if anyone wants to bring or send flowers, they do so through the Beaverton Florist so they fit with the main arrangements.
They are also establishing a scholarship in her name to the Arts and Communication Magnet Academy where she studied.
