Nike Evacuation: 800 Employees Forced Out As Owner of Suitcase Sought`
Once the owner was found, the employees were allowed back to work.
Tense moments at Nike headquarters in Beaverton on Wednesday afternoon. An unattended, unclaimed suitcase forced the evacuation of hundreds of employees.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office says that 800 employees were forced from their offices in one of the buildings on the Nike campus when a suitcase was discovered and no owner could be located.
Once the owner was found it was determined the luggage was not a threat, employees were allowed back to work.
