Oregon Road Runners Club 'Best Dam Run' 10k

Ready to Run? Oregon Road Runners Club hosts its 33rd Annual "Best Dam Run" 10k Run & Walk on September 24.

BEAVERTON, OR - The Oregon Road Runners Club is gearing up for its 33rd annual Best Dam Run. This 10k run and walk meanders through rivers, well-paved roads, forests and wildlife. The run is a scenic one, that starts by the Clackamas River and finishes in downtown Estacada, right in the middle of the Farmer's Market.

Register here for the Best Dam(n) Run of your life and get familiar with the rules of the road beforehand. Once you've signed up, participants will need to meet at City Hall on race day at 8:30 a.m., and they will be shuttled to the starting line. Walkers begin at 9:30 AM and runners just after at 9:45 a.m.

Basic Rules of the Run:

  • Pets are not allowed on the course
  • Strollers are not allowed on the course
  • Portions of the course are not closed to traffic

Not feeling quite as psyched as before to run 10 kilometers? Not a problem. You can always volunteer with ORRC instead, with positions varying from administration, community outreach, volunteer management and race day prep.
