Police Investigate Carjacking, Mugging In Beaverton
Two men are thought to have committed both a person-to-person robbery and a carjacking around 6 p.m. Sunday.

BEAVERTON, OR — Police are searching for two men who are accused of a mugging and carjacking in two separate incidents in Beaverton Sunday evening. The mugging victim did not sustain any injuries, but the carjacking victim sustained a slight injury to her hand, according to Beaverton police spokesman Jeremy Shaw.
The two suspects were described as Hispanic and black, respectively. The Hispanic man is thought to be younger than 30 years old. He was wearing a black rain jacket, black jeans, and a black cap during the robbery, Shaw said. The black man is also thought to be younger than 30 years old. A thinly-built man, he was reportedly wearing dark glasses, a gray hoodie, and dark sweat pants during the robbery.
Officers were initially dispatched to the 10100-block of Southwest Allen Boulevard around 5:45 p.m. Oct. 28. A woman reported two men mugged her at gunpoint in the parking lot of Consignment Northwest. After taking unspecified personal belongings from the woman, the two men fled the area on foot, heading south.

Shortly after the robbery, another woman called police to report a carjacking in the 10400-block of Southwest Denny Road, on the opposite side of Fanno Creek, only a few hundred feet from the parking lot mugging, Shaw said. The woman's hand was reportedly injured when the men took her 2007 green Mitsubishi Lancer.
