Power Outages Across Washington County Thursday
As of 11:30 a.m. June 21, PGE reported 12 separate power outages affecting more than 500 residents in and around Beaverton.

BEAVERTON, OR — A "rogue" thunderstorm developed over Washington County Thursday morning, with lighting from the storm reportedly knocking out power to more than 7,500 residents at one time.
Working diligently throughout the morning, Portland General Electric, as of 11:30 a.m., was reporting just 12 separate power outages in Aloha, the Cooper Mountain area, Cedar Hills, Metzger, and along Southwest Greenway Boulevard and Southwest Nimbus Avenue affecting more than 500 people.
According to the National Weather Service — Portland Office, thunderstorms will stick around the westside of Washington County through about 11 a.m. High temperatures today won't likely exceed the low 70s.

Rain could persist through the evening and into Friday, forecasters say.
