Wandering Jedi Found, Returned Home: Sheriff

CLACKAMAS, OR — Washington County deputies returned a stolen car and a stolen puppy to a happy owner this week after both were stolen in the same act last Monday.
Washington County Sheriff's officials were dispatched to an afternoon car theft April 2 at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center near Cedar Hills.
Two suspects in an SUV, who have not yet been caught or identified, were reportedly captured on surveillance cameras pulling alongside a teal 1992 Honda Civic parked at the hospital before one of the occupants got out, entered the Honda, and drove away — with five-month-old Yorkshire terrier puppy Jedi still inside.

Around 3 a.m. April 4, deputies located the Honda in the parking lot at the Cedar Hills Shopping Center; but there was no sign of Jedi.
Two days later, April 6, a resident in Clackamas spotted the dog and, recognizing him from recent news reports, picked him up and called police — who promptly returned him.
