What's Open on Christmas Day Near Beaverton?
There are a number of national chain restaurants and stores welcoming guests on Christmas Day.
BEAVERTON, OR - Here's some of what's open and closed for the Christmas holiday.
Open on Christmas Day
- IHOP: 24-hour IHOP locations will operate as usual
- Papa John’s: Open from noon to 11 p.m.
- Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse: Open noon and 8 p.m.
- Starbucks: Most stores open from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- 7-Eleven: Will be open if you need a Slurpee
- Albertsons: Most locations will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- CVS: The drugstore chain will be open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m..
- Walgreen’s: 24/7 locations will keep their normal hours, while non-24/7 stores will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Portland parking meters: Free Sunday, Dec. 25, except in Washington Park, the Oregon Zoo and Willamette Park. Metered parking will be enforced on Monday, Dec. 26.
- TriMet buses and Max will run on Sunday schedules Dec. 25 and 26; no WES service Dec. 25 and 26.

- Federal offices and courts: Closed Dec. 26.
- Oregon and Washington state offices and courts: Closed Dec. 26.
- Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark county offices, city of Portland offices, Metro Regional Center: Closed Dec.26.
- Banks: Closed Dec. 26.
- U.S. Postal Service offices: Closed Dec. 26, no regular mail service.
- Multnomah County Libraries: Closed Saturday, Dec. 24, and Sunday, Dec. 25; open Monday, Dec. 26.
- Washington County Libraries: Most closed Saturday, Dec. 24, others closing early; all closed Sunday, Dec. 25; most closed Monday, Dec. 26. Check www.wccls.org for details.
- Clackamas County Libraries: Most closed Saturday, Dec. 24, all closed Sunday, Dec. 25; most open Monday, Dec. 26.
- Oregon Zoo: Closed on Dec. 25.
