$100K Lottery Scratch-it Winner Celebrates 2nd Lottery Win
Lora McWilliams-Glasscock told Oregon Lottery officials she'd previously won a Scratch-it game top prize 11 years ago.

PORTLAND, OR — Although Lora McWilliams-Glasscock is no stranger to winning lottery prizes, she was still quite shocked when her recently-purchased Oregon Lottery Scratch-it revealed she'd won a top prize for the second time in her life.
Lora and her husband Lee told Oregon Lottery officials they'd purchased the winning Cash Blast Scratch-it at the Lombard Market in North Portland. While picking up her big check at the Oregon Lottery Headquarters in Salem, Lora, a regular Scratch-it player, also described the specific method she uses for scratching her tickets.
“I will scratch the play area first to see if I won, then after that I will scratch the prize area,” she said. “When I saw that I won, I was excited. When I saw I won $100,000 it almost gave me a heart attack!”

Even though she'd won a top prize on a $10 Scratch-it 11 years ago, Lora said winning $100,000 was still entirely unexpected. However, with three grown children and one grandchild, as well as home-remodeling projects underway, the win couldn't have come at a better time, she said.
Lora's $100,000 win marks the last available top prize for the $100,000 Cash Blast Scratch-it game. For more information on the Oregon Lottery or its games, visit www.oregonlottery.org.
