PORTLAND, OR — One of the best parts of the warmer months is the ability to enjoy the fresh air and stop by a farmers market for some great produce and other fine food items. It's easy for Portland residents to forget that there are a number of farmers markets that stay open all year round. Here are four such Portland Farmers Market Locations:

  • Portland State University is the Portland Farmers Market’s year-round flagship market. There are 140 stall spaces filled by farmers and artisan food producers from around the region. More than 200 different vendors appear during the year, so there is always something new and exciting at the market. As many as 20,000 customers shop here on Saturdays. There are kids' cooking classes, awesome market music and chef demonstrations, so it's more than just about the shopping. It's a long standing market as well, running since 1992.
