"The blistered cornicione and thin crust provide scrumptious, beautiful canvases for the hand-made mozzarella the restaurant makes daily. There are eight pies on the menu including standouts like the salumi finocchiona, tomato, provolone, mozzarella, oregano, honey), alla fiamma (tomato, red onion, Mama Lil’s peppers, wild oregano, spicy oil, and black olives), and a vongole bianco with Manila clams and gremolata that defies New Haven tradition by featuring smoked provolone and mozzarella."
Authentic Neapolitan pies aren't all they have! When it comes to Nostrana's delicious antipasti, it's no surprise that the acclaimed restaurant incorporates clams and oysters from the bounty of surrounding rivers and estuaries. Choosing between pasta dishes like blue prawn ravioli and cannelloni Bolognese, and main courses like bistecca alla Fiorentina and grappa-braised pork shoulder might be a challenging decision but no matter what you order, you really can't go wrong.
