Blazers Ink McCollum to Four-Year Extension Says Report

CJ McCollum has proved himself an increasingly important member of the Portland Trail Blazers and all that hard work has paid off with a four-year contract extension with $106 million, according to a report in Yahoo Sports.

It's a huge pay day for the guard who will be entering his fourth season in the fall.

He is scheduled to make just over $3 million this coming season.

Yahoo Sports says the four years after that he will make: $23.9 million, $25.7 million, $27.5 million, and $29.3 million.

Since signing with the Trail Blazers out of Lehigh, he has seen his playing time increase each year as well as his contributions to the team.

Last year, McCollum played 80 games, averaging 20.8 points in 34.8 minutes.
