He says that he had to call the number on his receipt to get help.
Employees at one point slid a fly swatter under the door so that Brooner could pry the door open. Not only did that not work, he cut his hand in the process.
Trapped in the bathroom, Brooner could hear employees and customers laughing at his plight.
A locksmith finally showed up and got him out.
Brooner was given some ointment, a Band-Aid and was told that they would settle with him by giving him a lifetime supply of Burger King meals for free.
His suit says the offer quickly went away and he was told he would not be getting free meals.
Brooner's lawyer presented what they believe is a reasonable offer.
They say that Brooner is 50.
"Assuming he lives to be 72-year-sold and consumes on average one Burger King Whopper Meal per week for the rest of his, the value of Burger King's agreement to Mr. Brooner is $9,026," the suit says.
The suit says that he either wants the meals or the $9,026. He says that he's not asking for a penny more.
Burger King has yet to respond to the suit.
