- Despite the objections of environmental activists, Zenith Energy, a crude oil company, is seeking to expand their operations in Portland. Currently the company transports over 200 million gallons of oil through Northwest Portland. The Portland Police Association and the City of Portland entered into closed door mediations on June 14th.
