Downtown Portland Shooting Wounds Two, Gunman Still On The Run
The shooting in Ankeny Alley Thursday afternoon left two wounded and streets closed downtown for hours.
PORTLAND, OR – Two men are in the hospital after being shot in downtown Portland Thursday afternoon. It happened in Ankeny Alley by the 200 block of Southwest Broadway around 2:30.
Streets were closed for several hours.
Calls to 911 reported gunshots and people running from the scene.

Officers arrived and quickly located the two people who'd been shot. They were rushed to the hospital and are expected to recover.

As of late Thursday night, police had no suspects.
They would like anyone with information on the incident to Detective Jeff Pontius at 503-823-2081.
