Girl Scout Cookies Are Coming, You Can Start Buying On Jan 5

It's almost time when you start calling up friends to find out if they have a daughter who is a Girl Scout, ready to tale your cookie order.

PORTLAND, OR – You know the names. Samoas. Thin Mints. Trefoils. Tagalongs. Savanah Smiles. And, of course S'mores.

Not only do you know the names, chances are that you know their smell, their taste.

It's just about Girl Scout Cookie season.

Look for the scouts to be coming door to door, selling in booths. Look for their parents to start bringing order forms to the office.

And, for the fifth year in a row, the Digital Cookie platform will be up and running, something that the Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington say provives girls "with invaluable business and science, technology, engineering, and math skills that prepare them for 21st century leadership.

People can start ordering on Jan 5 for cookie delivery around mid-February

Sales at booths in front of local stores will go from February 15 through March, 10.

The scouts say that you can find a cookie booth with the Cookie Finder at girlscoutsosw.org or with their Girl Scout Cookie Finder app, which is available for iPhone and Android.
