Oregon State Legislators are trying to help those exposed to HIV get the medicines they need. House Bill 2958 B would allow pharmacists to sell pre-exposure and post-exposure HIV prophylaxis over the counter. It would also allow them to conduct HIV tests. (OPB)

2 more cases of Legionnaires’ disease have been reported at the Rosemont Court apartment building in North Portland. In January, 10 residents became ill with the disease. Northwest Housing Alternatives has said it will help residents relocate. (KATU)
Tri-Met is going green as it announced that it will be running on 100% renewable energy. Staring this month, its entire fleet of trains and buses will run on renewable electricity. To do so, it has partnered with PGE’s Green Future and Pacific Power’s Blue Sky programs. (KPTV)
Damian Lillard is going to Japan! He’s one of the first players who have committed to be on Team USA in the Tokyo Olympics. He’ll be joined by Golden State Warriors forward Draymon Green. Training begins in Las Vegas on July 6th. (KGW)
Oregon’s eviction moratorium is set to expire on June 30 and lawmakers are worried about the housing crisis that may follow. The Oregon legislature is discussing ways to put additional protections for renters in place. At this time, the Oregon Housing and Community Services says that more than 16,000 household have started or completed an application for rental assistance. (KOIN)

The book This Is Not For You tells the story of activist and photographer Richard Brown, a Black Portlander who has spent decades working to bridge the divide between police and the Black community. Literary Portland will be livestreaming a conversation between Brown and Portland author Brian Benson, who co-wrote the book with him. The event is free, but does require preregistration. 6:00 – 7:00 PM.
If you’re in the mood for some good, old fashioned, Italian food, swing on over to Star Bar in the Buckman Neighborhood for a LaMotta pop-up event. They think they’ll be selling out of food, so

The Church of Film is back and at the Clinton Street Theater with yet another crazy film offering. They’ll be showing The Devil Queen, an outrageous piece of Brazilian filmwork from the Cinema Marginal movement. 8:00 PM
It’s Comedy Night at the Botanist in Northwest Portland. Featuring one of the largest rooftop tents in Portland, they’ll be showing some of the funniest comics in the area. Seating is limited, so get your tickets early. 7:00 – 9:00 PM.
What could be more relaxing than yoga in the park? Rising Tide Wellness wants to help you with that. They’ll be hosting a yoga class in Laurelhurst Park. Bring a blanket. Register and pay online. 5:30 – 6:30 PM.

Oregon may be getting more representation in congress. That’s because so many Californians have moved to our state that Oregon will gain another congressional seat. The last time the state did that was in 1982. There will be 10 public hearings on how district boundaries will be redrawn. (Willamette Week)
