The suit says that Kanani arrived in his 2017 GMC Yukon XL Denali to pick up Williams, who was in town to perform as part of Nick Cannon's "Wild 'N Out" show, and others at a private hanger.
Williams allegedly insisted that his dog sit in the front seat with him.

Kanani says that when he objected, Williams punched him in the face and called him "white trash" and a "piece of shit."
The suit states that Kanani ran to the airport terminal "for safety" and that as he ran. Williams ordered his dog to chase him down.
Kanani charges that it was only after another car came to get Williams that he was able to call 911. He says that Williams broke one of his teeth and cut his face causing swelling.
Williams and his representatives have not yet responded to the suit.
As of Tuesday morning, Williams was still being held in Multnomah County Jail.
Williams, 47, won an Emmy Award last month for his work on the show, Atlanta.
