Live Stream Little League Softball Championship: Ohio vs. PA

PORTLAND, OR — The 2018 Little League Softball World Series is nearly here and will feature a duel between battle-tested teams from Pennsylvania and Ohio. The Tunkhannock Little Leaguers (5-1) will play the Wheelersburg Little League team (4-2) in the championship game Wednesday. The game will start at 7 p.m. Pacific Time at Alpenrose Stadium in Portland, Oregon.

Tunkhannock, representing the East region, has lost just one game in the tournament and is coming off a strong performance against Oregon in the semi-final. Pennsylvania went down three runs in the first inning but roared back to tie it up in the second. The team ultimately won 6-4.

Pennsylvania's offense has been powered by the potent bat of Ella McNeff, who has 10 hits in the tournament, including four doubles and two triples. She leads the team in both RBIs and runs scored with seven apiece and is sporting an impressive batting average of .526. Paige Marabell and Cali Wisnosky have also been important to the team, each batting over .400 and combining for nine RBIs and seven runs scored. Pitcher Kaya Hannon has hurled all but one inning for Pennsylvania and owns a sparkling 1.125 ERA. She has 48 strikeouts in the tournament and has issued just four walks.

Meanwhile, the Wheelersburg offense has been lead by Maddison Kotcamp and Haley Myers. Kotcamp has accounted for six RBIs and seven runs scored — both team-highs — while Myers sports a .956 OPS. She has five RBIs and scored three runs.
