Man Points Gun At Driver, Causes Crash, Is Arrested: Police

Portland Police say that Monday afternoon they arrested a driver who pointed a gun at another driver on Southeast Division, Cuasing a crash.

PORTLAND, OR – Portland Police say they've arrested a driver who pointed a gun at another driver, causing a crash. Kelly Pyatt faces several charges including reckless endangering, driving under the influence, and criminal mischief,

Officials say that the incident happened around 3:45 on Monday afternoon.

An officer from the Central Precinct happened upon a collision between a Subaru and a GMC Suburban at Southeast Division and 8th Avenue.

Police say that Pyatt then rammed his Suburban into the Subaru and drove away.

Officers followed and were able to stop him by the east end of the Ross Island Bridge.

They found a loaded gun and seized it as evidence.
