Man Suffers Severe Injuries In Pedestrian Accident
A man suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle on SE Division Street Monday night, police said.

PORTLAND, OR - A man suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle on SE Division Street Monday night, police said.
East Precinct officers investigated a report of a pedestrian struck by a driver in the 15800 block of Southeast Division about 9:15 p.m. Monday. The pedestrian was transported to a Portland hospital by ambulance for treatment. He has not been identified by police.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Due to the severity of the pedestrian's injuries, the Traffic Division's Major Crash Team responded to conduct an investigation into the crash. A criminalist with the Portland Police Bureau's Forensic Evidence Division will assist with the investigation, police said.
