Man Who Drove Truck Into People In Northeast PDX Arrested: Police
Police say that 21-year-old Austin Keever-Nyberg was the man who drove a truck toward a group of three people in Northeast Portland.

PORTLAND, OR – The video quickly spread across social media. A Toyota truck being driven toward three people as they walked by Wilkes Park in Northeast Portland.
It happened on Jan. 10 just before 5 p.m. and the video shows a Toyota Tacoma being driven on the sidewalk as it moved toward the people.
The man that Portland Police say was responsible is now a resident of Multnomah County Jail.

Police say that 21-year-old Austin Keever-Nyberg was arrested earlier this week when he was visiting the Clackamas County Courthouse on an unrelated matter.

"Thank you to the individuals who brought this incident to our attention and assisted investigators," Portland Police Chief Danielle Outlaw said. "Our community members are an important partner in identifying and solving crimes to keep our community safe.
"Thank you also to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office for assisting with the arrest of the suspect involved."
While police have the video, they say that they still have not heard from the three people in the video.
