Michelle Obama Postpones Portland Appearance Because Of Snow
Michelle Obama was scheduled to stop at the Moda Center on Saturday. Because of the forecast, it's been postponed until March.

PORTLAND, OR – If you are one of the thousands planning to see Michelle Obama at the Moda Center on Saturday night, you might want to make other plans. Because of the forecast that several inches might fall on Saturday, the former First Lady has postponed her trip.
Instead of Saturday, she will be here at 8 p.m. on March 19.
All tickets for the Saturday show will be honored at that time.

The appearance is part of the second leg of her tour in support of her book, "Becoming."

The book, which was Amazon's best selling book of 2018 and continues to be atop the list.
In 2018, she visited 10 cities and has added 21 – including 10 overseas – to her tour.
"I couldn't be more excited to visit even more cities across the country and around the world," Obama said when the second leg of the tour was announced. "I've been so humbled by the response to the tour thus far and the overwhelming interest we've received from so many communities we weren't able to visit this year.
"That's why I'm thrilled that we're able to expand our conversations to these new settings and wider audiences. I can't wait to continue the discussions that have been so meaningful for me and, I hope, for so many others."
