At the least it will be the Buttercup beginner lift ad the Ballroom Carpet conveoyr.

As snow and mountain preparation allow, they will open additional lifts.

"We need natural snow in order to harvest it from the parking lot to supplement the base area snowpack," Meadows Marketing VP Dave Tragethon says. "Our team has perfected snow harvesting, to be able to operate even on a limited basis with a foot of natural snow in the base area was impossible more than a few seasons ago.

"With the forecast for more snow, we’re excited about the potential to open up more lifts this weekend than just Buttercup and the Ballroom Carpet."

Meadows says that lift tickets for the weekend are on sale at the resort website SkiHood.com/Tickets. Saturday’s prices are $39 for adults; $29 for ages 15 - 24 and 65 - 74; $19 for ages 7 - 14 and $12 for ages 6 and under. Sunday’s prices will start at those rates, but will increase as more tickets are purchased so those purchasing early in advance will receive the best price.
