National Cookie Day is December 4

According to a survey of 1,000 Americans, 43% of people have finished a whole row of Oreos...in one sitting. No joke!

While everyone is settling back into their routines post-Thanksgiving, there's another reason to celebrate coming up this week. National Cookie Day will take place on December 4!

The holiday experts at National Today conducted a survey of 1,000 Americans to reveal the truth behind their inner cookie monster. Consider this:

  • Oreos are America's favorite cookie brand, with over one out of three people picking the chocolate sandwich cookie over other store-bought packages like Chips Ahoy and Vanilla Wafers. However, at 65%, the majority of Americans actually prefer a chewy cookie.
  • 33% of men and women admit to eating cookies a couple of times a week. But, men lead the cookie eating train with 14% indulging in the sugary goodness more than once a day in comparison to 8% of women.
  • 54% of Americans prefer homemade cookies to store-bought cookies. 7% have never baked their own cookies.
  • 43% of Americans have finished a whole row of Oreos...in one sitting. Don't judge!
