Portland Area Forecast Calls For Slick Wednesday Morning Commute
Forecasters are warning of possible black ice during the Wednesday morning commute. And possible snow on Friday.

PORTLAND, OR – We all know that the Oregon Zoo's hedgehog as well as Punxsutawney Phil and other prognosticating animals have called for an early spring. Unfortunately, we're all going to have to wait.
Forecasters say while a lot of the snow that has fallen since Sunday night has melted, freezing temperatures overnight will make the Wednesday morning commute potentially problematic.
The National Weather Service says there's a good chance for black ice overnight that will last through the morning.

PBOT also wants property owners, tenants, and businesses to remember that they are responsible for clearing sidewalks.

Officials say that they've also set up a Winter Weather Center online where people can check the latest and see where salt trucks, anti-icing trucks, and plows are in real time.
You can also check the elevation of places that you plan to be as well as look at live traffic cameras.
Meanwhile, there's a chance that the weather will cause further delays for planes leaving Portland International Airport and arriving.

The National Weather Service says that there shouldn't be any more snow Wednesday. Or Thursday.
Friday, though? Another story. Snow or other winter precipitation. Through the weekend.
