Portland Forecast Says More Rain, Don't Be Fooled by Blue Skies
If you're looking at blue skies, soak it in, enjoy it. Forecasters from the National Weather Service are saying that it won't last. Sorry.

PORTLAND, OR – Don't be fooled by the blue skies. They made Tuesday morning look nice, like suddenly the Portland area had passed through winter and made it safely to spring.
After the storm Monday night into Tuesday morning dumped a lot of rain, you would not be blamed for trying to be optimistic, like Noah when he sees the dove returning with an olive branch.
The sad news – it's not going to last.

Forecasters from the National Weather Service's Portland office say that the rain will be back by late Monday morning. And there will be a lot of it.

"The rain could be heavy at times," they say. "Chance of precipitation is 100 percent."
There could be as much as a half inch of rain during the day and another quarter inch tonight.
Wednesday there's should be a chance of showers before 10 a.m. and a chance of rain after that. The good news is that they say that the chance of precipitation is only 30 percent.
Thursday the number goes back up to a 90 percent chance of precipitation and wind gusts of up to 33 mph. In all, Thursday could bring another half inch of rain.
Friday will bring bluer skies and a high of about 46 degrees.
