Portland Forecast Says No White Christmas Except In The Mountains
The National Weather Service's Portland office says that it will not be a white Christmas in town. For that, you'll have to head to Mt. Hood

PORTLAND, OR – If you're willing to use your imagination, it will be a white Christmas in Portland and the surrounding area. There will be lots of fog in the morning and clouds throughout the day.
Admittedly, fog and clouds are maybe more grayish than white but, that's where the imagination comes in.
If you do want the genuine stuff, however, there is the 11,000-foot mountain nearby. Mt. Hood has plenty of snow.
