Portland Man Wins For Life With Oregon Lottery
Marlon Stockton won the April 7 Win For Life drawing, ensuring $52,000 per year from the Oregon Lottery for the rest of his days.

PORTLAND, OR — It can sometimes pay off to try new things, as Portland resident Marlon Stockton recently learned — literally.
Stockton on April 7 learned he would receive $52,000 per year for the rest of his life for matching all four numbers in last Saturday's Oregon Lottery Win For Life game.
Typically a Keno player, Stockton decided to try the Win For Life game when he visited a Fred Meyer on Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway in Portland.

Stockton had the choice of $1,000 per week, but he reportedly opted for the annual payout.
For its part, the Fred Meyer store where the ticket was sold will receive a retailer sales bonus of $13,000 — 1 percent of the 25-year Win For Life prize, according to Oregon Lottery officials.
