Portland Police Investigate Shooting Of Man In Sabin Neighborhood

Portland Police say that a man was shot around 6:30 on Monday evening in the area of Northeast Prescott Street and 14th Avenue.

PORTLAND, OR – A man was shot Monday evening in Northeast Portland. It happened in the area of Northeast Prescott Street and 14th Avenue.

Police say that they arrived in the area around 6:40 p.m. after getting a call of shots fired.

They couldn't find any shooting victims but did find evidence of a shooting.

As officers investigated, they got a report that a man had been dropped off at a local hospital by someone driving a private vehicle.

Police say that the man's injuries are not considered life threatening.

Detectives ask that if anyone saw the shooing, has surveillance video, or knows anything about the incident, that they please call the police bureau's Gun Violence Reduction Team at 502-823-4106.
