"The National Weather Service has issued an “Excessive Heat Warning” in effect from Saturday, June 26, 10 a.m. until Monday, June 28, 11 p.m.
Given the number of PPS buildings without air conditioning and that extreme heat conditions can create unsafe environments for learning and activities, we are pausing all student programs in PPS school buildings on Monday, June 28. This pause includes grab-and-go meal service, child care, and summer enrichment programs. For programs that take place in non-PPS buildings, families should assume that those programs are also paused, unless you hear otherwise from the program provider.

We will continue to monitor weather forecasts throughout the weekend and will be in touch Monday regarding program status for Tuesday.
The PPS website will be updated with information as necessary: www.pps.net.
