Owner Lisa Schroder has been referring to the original location as Mother's 1.0 and the new location as Mother's 2.0.
They say that the new location will have to plenty to offer its guests from longer hours, valet parking, and more bathrooms to the fact the restaurant will be able to offer a more varied menu thanks to a larger kitchen area.
They're even advertising to hire more that they are calling "rock star line cooks."
They've even taken extra steps to try to ensure success at the new location.
"Before we opened Mother's Bistro & Bar 19 years ago we 'cleansed' our space because some felt the building must be cursed since so many businesses had come," they wrote on Facebook citing several restaurants including Eddie Lee’s, The Concord Grill, 2nd Ave. Bar and Grill.
"We did a sage smudging, chinese cleansing, and learned what to do vis a vis the feng shui."
They recently had the same done at the new location, adding not just a sage smudging ceremony but a sage burning ceremony as well.
Mother's Bistro will open in the new location on Jan. 21.
If you can't wait till then to get into the spirit, on Wednesday, Jan 16, Mother's is asking people to join them for a march from the old location to the new starting at noon.
