Portland Sergeant Injured By Man Fleeing Stop, Arrest Made
A man is charged after police ay that he backed his Chevy Colorado into a sergeant as he fled a traffic stop

PORTLAND, OR – Portland Police say that Joten Urero backed his Chevy Colorado pickup into a sergeant as he fled a traffic stop Friday night.
The sergeant is expected to be okay. He was treated
Urero is in jail.

It was around 6:30 Friday night. Police say that officers stoped the 40-year-old Urero by Northeast Halsey and 43rd Avenue because they thought he was driving under the influence.

Police say that Urero backed the Chevy into a sergeant and fled.
He didn't get far. Police say that he crashed into a car about 20 blocks away.
He was arrested there and is charged with seven charges including DUII, driving with a suspended license, criminal mischief, and resisting arrested.
