Portland Thanksgiving Grocery Store Hours: When They Open, Close

PORTLAND, OR – It's Thanksgiving morning. You're getting everything ready and suddenly have a horrible realization.

You forgot:

Cranberry sauce, stuffing, green beans, potatoes, turkey.

The question quickly becomes, What store is open?

Here's a quick guide to the major markets in the Portland area. Hours may vary with individual stores so, you might want to call ahead.

NEW SEASONS

"All New Seasons stores will be closed on Thanksgiving so our staff can be with their families," they write on their website.

Fortunately, the same is not true of all stores.

FRED MEYER

One of Portland's mainstays will open their doors at 7 a.m. and close at 4 p.m..

WHOLE FOODS

Opening at 7 in the morning and closing at 5 in the afternoon.

SAFEWAY

It's pretty much a normal day with plans to open at 6 a.m. and close at 11 p.m..

WINCO

They will all be closing at 3 p.m..

ALBERTSON'S

Most of their stores will be opening at 6 a.m. and closing at different times, such as 8 p.m. or 11 p.m..
