PORTLAND, OR – There may not have been someone on a broomstick, flying around, and threatening young women and their little dogs but there was definitely a tornado in Portland on Sunday, Oct. 28. It touched down in north Portland.
The National Weather Service's Portland office says it happened around 3 p.m., touching down just south of Marine Drive by Portland Meadows.
There were no reported injuries or significant damage.

There were some trees that got snapped. One building had its roof damaged, and three semi-trailers were overturned.

The weather service says that the tornado measures as a EF-0, the least powerful measured tornado.
