Portland Weekend Forecast Has Cold, Rain, Wind, Some Blue Skies

It's December in Portland and that means rain and wind with chilly temperatures on top of that. Blue skies? Maybe some patches of blue.

PORTLAND, OR – What do you get when you mix freezing temperatures? Freezing rain. And that'a what's expected in the Columbia Gorge and Hood Valley this weekend.

So, if you're planning on heading east – or are already there – be prepared, have chains if you need them, salt to put outside your house. It's a better safe than sorry weekend.

As for Portland and the rest of the metro area, it won't be as bad.
