Portland Weekend Forecast: Surprisingly Rain Is Expected
The National Weather Service's Portland Office has put out one of those forecasts Oregonians know all too well – showers AND rain likely.

PORTLAND, OR – Take a look at the leaves on the trees. Before long, they will look like the one in the picture. With November dropping off of the calendar and winter approaching, forecasts will now more than likely include rain and wind.
This weekend is no exception.
Grab a raincoat, an umbrella, whatever you like to keep dry.

Saturday starts off with showers likely and, after 10 a.m., thunderstorms become possible. There is a chance of some sun but the chance of precipitation is 60 percent throughout the day. There could be a quarter-inch of rain with more possible if there are thunderstorms.

There's going to be wind and the high temperature being about 46 degrees.
Saturday night still has a chance of rain in the forecast and the low should be about 38 degrees.
Sunday starts with a 20 percent of showers with the temperature rising to 46 degrees. The wind should be calmer and the sun might even come out.
Sunday night brings fog after 10 p.m. that might turn to freezing fog after 1 a.m.. The temperature will settle in at around 44 degrees.
