Portland's Veterans Day Parade: Everything You Need to Know
It's looking like it will be cloudy but not raining during the parade this Friday.

PORTLAND, OR — The Ross Hollywood Chapel Veterans Day Parade is an annual Portland event where the community comes together to celebrate our veterans and honor everything they've done for America. We've put together this guide so that you're prepared to enjoy the parade this Friday.
When Does the Parade Start?
The parade starts at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, but it's best to get there early in order to make sure you get a good spot to watch.

Where to Park?
Along the Hollywood District there is street parking, which is limited. Carpooling or public transportation is recommended. For elderly and disabled attendees, there's a drop off area at 47th and NE Thompson Street.

There is expected to be rain Friday afternoon, but the morning is looking cloudy but dry as of Wednesday afternoon's forecast. If you want to be safe, though, there is covered seating past "Dignity Row" available on a first come, first serve basis.
What's the Route?
The parade starts at NE 40th and NE Tillamook and moves along NE 40th turning East onto NE Sandy Blvd. The parade wraps up at 48th and Sandy Blvd. at the flag pole in front of Ross Hollywood Chapel.

What Time Should Parade Participants Line Up?
The parade's line up will begin at 8 a.m. on Friday at NE 40th and NE Tillamook. Parade organizers ask participants to check their email for the correct line up position. There will also be an info table at 40th and Tillamook on the day.
