RACC Distributes 'Work for Art' Funds

The Regional Arts and Culture Council added 3 new organizations at its last board meeting on October 26.

PORTLAND, OR - During their last board meeting on October 26, the board of directors of the Regional Arts and Culture Council (RACC) voted to expand the list of organizations who receive General Operating Support funding from RACC annually. RACC awarded 3 grants: My Voice Music ($9,800), Portland Playhouse ($23,000) and The Circus Project ($12,800).

Work for Art is a program created to fund different organizations, primarily through workplace giving. The previous Work for Art campaign, which ended on June 30, 2016, raised a total of $912,000. This is the 10th annual Work for Art campaign. In addition to the General Operating Support funding, 49 local arts organizations receive auxiliary funding from RACC.
