ABOUT WINTER WONDERLAND

Recognized throughout the Pacific Northwest as the "Largest Holiday Light Show West of the Mississippi", the 25th annual Winter Wonderland Holiday Light Show at Portland International Raceway is now a signature fund and food-raiser for the Sunshine Division.

Spectators can enjoy the most impressive drive-through light show in the region, viewing over 250 colorful light set pieces and many fully animated scenes from the comfort of their own vehicle. Over two million visitors have taken the Winter Wonderland journey since its origin.

ABOUT THE SUNSHINE DIVISION

Since 1923 the Sunshine Division has provided free emergency food and clothing to families and individuals in times of crisis.

This December marks 95 years that Sunshine Division and Portland Police Bureau members will home deliver holiday food boxes. This year, 2,500 food boxes will be delivered to families in need via three Portland police precincts and the Sunshine Division warehouse.

An additional 1,250 holiday food boxes will be distributed via 20+ local non-profits throughout the metro area (at no cost) to help the families and individuals they serve in their communities.

We are the only charity in the U.S. working side-by-side with first responders to distribute food and clothing 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We currently serve approximately 1,300 households EACH MONTH directly at our facility in North Portland where families can access FREE food and clothing 6 days a week, year round.

In November 2017, Sunshine Division opened a second food pantry and clothing room facility at SE Stark Street in Portland, Oregon.

Sunshine Division is also a small food bank, assisting more than 25 local non-profits in the four county area, the Portland Police Bureau, and other local first responders, by providing them with FREE bulk food, clothing, holiday food boxes, and/or emergency food boxes to distribute throughout the metro area. All services we provide to individuals and other agencies are 100% free.

More than .90 cents of every donation goes to Sunshine's mission and programs. Our efficiency makes us the only local food relief organization to receive five consecutive "four-star ratings" from the charity watchdog organization, Charity Navigator. Only 7% of the charities rated nationally have received five consecutive 4-star evaluations.
