Will winter go out with a bang? Forecasters are predicting a "two-wave" storm this week, which could leave six inches of snow behind across the Philadelphia region. The updated forecast was provided by the National Weather Service early Monday, and won't make you happy if you're anxiously awaiting spring. (Who isn't?)
The storm is expected to move in late Monday into Tuesday and could come in two waves, bringing another round of snow Wednesday, the NWS said. A total of six inches could be left behind when it's all over.
Buckle up, because the NWS is anticipating it will be a "long duration" event.

The first storm will whiten parts of the mid-Atlantic Monday night into Tuesday, meteorologists from AccuWeather said.
