Aiello was first arrested in June 2020 on charges related to repeated sexual assaults of two boys between 2001 and 2010. The DA’s office said that Aiello was a friend of one child’s father, and met the second boy while working as a DJ at a wedding the boy attended. In both cases, the assaults began when they were 14.
Following a news conference held by the DA’s office after the initial charges, more came forward and reported that Aiello had sexually abused them when they were boys. The DA said that those abuses occurred in Bensalem and Penndel over a period of 12 years, between 1993 and 2005. Some victims were as young as 7 years old. One said he considered Aiello “a father figure.”
