60 Spots Available For Bensalem Township Community Garden

Bensalem Township has introduced a community garden and there's still time to get involved.

The garden is located on township property next to the Bensalem Community Park off of Richlieu Road, across from the Thunder Hollow Apartment Complex.

"We join the green movement along with many surrounding municipalities who provide this opportunity to residents to tend to their very own gardens," according to an announcement from Bensalem Township.

The township said it has been seeking applicants for garden spots, and to date it has received almost 200 entries. Good news: there are 60 garden boxes available.

To download an application, click here. The deadline for applications to be submitted is Friday, March 17. The applications can be dropped off to the Bensalem Municipal Building, 2400 Byberry Road.
