Bensalem Fall Festival Set For Saturday

The Saturday, Oct. 6 celebration of community pride will take place at Penn Community Bank Amphitheater.

BENSALEM, PA — Music and dancing, carnival rides and food are all on the agenda for the 2018 Bensalem Township Fall Festival, which is set for Saturday at Penn Community Bank Amphitheater.

The celebration of community pride will begin at 11 a.m. with opening ceremonies and feature a concert celebrating the music of Billy Joel, animal shows, amusements, arts and crafts, car show, fireworks and more.

It ends at 9 p.m. It is free to attend the festival.

The entertainment highlight of this year's festival is a 6 p.m. performance by Mike DelGuidice of Big Shot: Celebrating the Music of Billy Joel. The concert will be followed by a fireworks display at about 7:45 p.m.

Penn Community Bank Ampitheater also will be selling 2019 season passes at the festival for a discounted rate of $45 for non-residents and $35 for Bensalem residents. The tickets will be cash only.

Parking for the fall festival will be available at Bensalem High School, at 4319 Hulmeville Rd. in Bensalem. Free shuttle buses will run from the parking lot to the festival on a 10-minute loop all day long.

Handicap parking and shuttle will be available at the Bensalem Senior Center, at 1850 Byberry Rd.
