Bensalem High Drama Club To Perform 'Damn Yankees'

BENSALEM, PA — The classic musical comedy "Damn Yankees" will soon be hitting the stage at Bensalem High School.

The BHS Drama Club will present the show on Thursday, Feb. 20 through Saturday, Feb. 22 at the high school auditorium, at 4319 Hulmeville Rd.

There will be 7 p.m. shows on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with a Saturday matinee at 1 p..m. Tickets for the evening show are $10, with $5 tickets for the matinee.

A sporting twist on the "Faust" legend, "Damn Yankees" explores what happens when you trade your soul to get what you want. In it, Joe Boyd, a long-suffering Washington Senators fan, makes a pact with the devil to ensure victory over the titular Yankees.
