Bensalem High Holds 9/11 Memorial: Photos

BENSALEM, PA — Students, faculty and staff at Bensalem High School started off Sept. 11 with a memorial to the victims of the 2001 terror attacks.

The high school's Marine Corps Junior ROTC led a memorial moment Wednesday morning. Student leaders paused to pay their respects at the school's flag pole, as the U.S. flag was flown at half-staff.

"The cadets wanted to be certain that their peers, the faculty and staff took just a moment to remember the sacrifice of others and the service of those first responders who aided so many Americans in New York and those military service members who lost their lives at the Pentagon," the school system said in a news release.
